Betaab Valley, previously known as Hagan or Hagan Valley, is situated around fifteen kilometers from Pahalgam, Anantnag District in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, India. It is located in between the two Himalayan Ranges- Pir Panjal and Zanskar. The valley came to be called Hagoon until 1983, but after the release of the movie Betaab this valley became popular as ‘Betaab Valley’.
The Majority of the scenes of this blockbuster Bollywood movie starring- Sunny Deol & Amrita Singh were shot in this valley after which the valley got its new name; i.e. ‘Betaab Valley’.
